Even though homework is not part of a Montessori environment most weeks Nikau students are handed a Kiwi Kids Quizz which they are invited to share with family members with the idea to stimulate discussion and debate at home.

Scientific Classification

Recent scientific investigation of vertebrates lead Rm15 children out into the garden to see what they could find. This in turn lead to scientific observation drawings and further research into vertebrates and classification of the Animal Kingdom.
